Marketing is the use of electronic devices to transmit advertising messages and measure their impact. In practice, digital marketing refers to marketing campaigns that appear on computers, phones, tablets and other devices. Digital marketing can take many forms, including online videos, ads and social media posts. It can also be compared to traditional marketing such as magazine ads, billboards and direct mail. Curiously, television is usually lumped together with traditional marketing.
