Google changed its privacy policy on March 16, 2012, allowing the company to share data with a variety of services. This includes millions of third-party websites that use AdSense Analytics. This policy has been criticised for creating an environment that discourages Internet innovation and makes Internet users more fearful and suspicious of what they post online.
